Hard Rock Universal???

I am really excitied about Harry Potter at Universal, I am looking at all my options for 2010.

I like the looks and location(convenient) of Hard Rock???

I am thinking of tacking on 4 days to our Disney trip next year to go to Universal.

Are there any other better hotels?

Staying in one of the onsite hotels gives you front of the line access to rides with the express entry. Its like a never ending fastpass.

I have stayed at all 3 of these hotels and prefer either PBR or RPR over HR. The Portifino is beautifully themed one of the nicest hotels I have ever been in but expensive. Royal Pacific has that tropicl feel very laid back and nice rooms closest hotel to IOA park. Hard Rock - I just didn't like it as much - People staying there REALLY seemed to buy into the "I'm a rockstar" theme not as relaxing as the other 2. Also if you have AAA there are discounts on rooms and at the parks/citywalk. Always call for AAA rates sometimes they don't show up online.

hard rock is the closest to the parks--an easy 3-4min walk. my teen says it's his favorite--and that's what you tend to here on the UO boards. one of the things we have found is that the hotels don't have a lot of choices for breakfast unless you want a pretty expensive one at their restaurant. staying at the HRH makes it real easy to walk to citiwalk before park openings, grab breakfast and go.

If you have teens stay at the Hard Rock. It seems to be the resort of choice for teens.

The music,pool slide and getting to play the latest Guiter Hero poolside has alot to do with that!!
