Hi,
Hoping someone will be able to help keep me right !!! We have booked HRH for september printed off confirmation all sounds ok so far, but I had to give my credit card details for payment, only credit card bill came in & no money been taken for payment of HRH, is this normal ?

That has happened to us before in the past. One year the deposit never came out, and this year it took a week for the deposit to show up on my credit card. I'd give them a call if you are worried about not locking in the room.

if they didn't charge the one night stay as the deposit, don't worry.

you'll pay the entire hotel bill when you check out.


no need to call and check if you have a ressie without paying a one night in advance.

you have an email confirmation and that holds your room.


i have experienced that before also.
sometimes they do charge one night at the time of booking and other times they have not.

i have no explanation on why...

My charge came through to my cc within a couple of days of making the reservation.

We have our rooms reserved and have not paid anything yet. We haven't paid a deposit on our rooms in several trips now. We pay for the whole thing when we check out. We reserve with the AAA discount and do room only so that may make a difference. We had to put down a deposit and pay the balance within a time frame years ago when we booked a package trip for Universal. Find its much cheaper to do room only with a discount and then purchase the tickets through AAA with their discount.
