Hard Rock Cafe; need PS's?

We will be staying at the HRH for 1 nite at the tail end of our WDW trip. We want a fun place to eat on a Thursday nite. Definately nothing fancy, just something kinda simple, but different. We just want something fun to end our vacation with. I've never been to City Walk, so I'm unfamiliar with all the restuarants. We were thinking about the Hard Rock Cafe. Is it in the HRH? or in City Walk? Do you need to call ahead for reservations? Any suggestions??

The Hard Rock Cafe is in City Walk. Since you are staying onsite, just show your room key and you will be seated almost immediately. We've never had to wait, even when others are waiting in a line out the door.

I think you will like the Hard Rock Cafe - we ate there twice during our last trip. Fun atmosphere and food is quite good.

Antmeril - does the room key work to get you to the top of the line if you're staying at PBH, or does it only work if you're staying at HRH?

Hi,

I second the Hard Rock cafe. Some of the memorabilia they have is amazing. Good atmosphere, great food and great service.
The quickest way to the Cafe from the Hard Rock Hotel is to use the exit at the back of the pool (by the beach club) and you will be there in under 5 mins. Otherwise the boat can take upto a 15 minute wait and then you have to take a 3-5 minute walk over to the other side of City Walk.
You can make reservations on their website www.hardrock.com and even choose where you want to sit.
Front of the line access using HRH, PBH & RPR room cards works at all City Walk (including the Hard rock Cafe) restauraunts except Emerils.

As stated by the above poster, your PBH room key can be used for easy entrance at all of the restaurants in City Walk, except Emeril's. Also, many of the restaurants (including Hard Rock Cafe) give a 10% discount if you are a AAA member - so don't forget to show your AAA card if you have one.

Thanks for everyones great replies!! One more question..... do you get any kind of a discount at the Hard Rock Cafe if you have a fan club card? I know this is for another thread but..... do you get a discount on a 2 day tix w/the fan club card also?

We loved eating at the Hard Rock, but it was freezing cold in there! Air conditioning never bothers me, I like the cold air, but they must have put it up full blast. My son was freezing and we actually had to cut our lunch short because it was so uncomfortable. I asked the server if they sold Hard Rock sweatshirts, but alas they did not. This was in July. But the food and atmosphere were great.

We had the same thing happen! It was so cold when we ate there and I also went looking for sweatshirts. Make sure you arent wet from the rides before eating here
