Hard Rock Cafe for a birthday!

Hi, it will be my dd's 13th birthday mid June and she would like to go to the Hard Rock Cafe for her birthday dinner. Should we make a reservation or is it acceptable to just turn up? I'm trying to leave the day free for whatever she wants to do and not be tied to a time, but if it needs to be booked I will do it.
Also is it possible to arrange something like a cake for her birthday at HRC? Or even at RPR? How or where would I go about doing this?

I've never had to book.
At most had to wait 20 min but then we sat at the bar. However in your situation you could browse the shop.

not sure how many times a day they do the celebrating of birthdays at hrc.
when i have been there for a late afternoon (3)and early evening meal (7:30),
they did a bit of entertaining for birthdays.

they announced all that were celebrating a birthday that day to come to the side section (to the right of the bar)
the birthday people stood on a table and were serenaded by the birthday song.

then they were told the ice cream dessert was on the house.

it looked like a lot of fun!
