Hard Rock Cafe & AP Discount & Renewal Question

Im considering buying an AP for Universal now as we may end up going back Christmas next year (or may be the year after just now sure at the mo) but wanted to check :

You get a 10% disc on meals at HRC with your AP card but I can't see roughly how much a meal would cost for 2 adults and 2 kids (say, main courses and a dessert only) - I can find the menu but no prices - anyone any rough idea so I can calculate the approx saving into my ever growing equations?

Also, roughly, what's the annual renewal on a Preferred AP? Is it the same as taking out a new one or do you get it slightly cheaper as an existing AP holder (and, if so, roughly what price - just a ball park idea again).

You get a discount on your meals at alot of places (we like Jimmy Buffets), you also get a discount on merchandise. We also enjoy the free parking when we are in Orlando and not staying on property (our timeshare). We like that the renewal is about 1/2 the price of a new ticket.

There are lots of other AP holder specials. This summer they offered tickets for 50% off that we could buy for our friends and family. That was a great perk and we bought some for the family for August 2009.
