Just a couple of observations,
Why do people, especially those with many in their party and those huge double strollers feel inclined to view everything in the walkways at Hard Rock as if they are in a museum. In the 1st floor elevator area just outside of the ice cream shop there is a small walkway used by virtually everyone going to the water taxi, pool or the restaurants. Sitting there is a multi colored "bus seat" from the Partridge Family Bus. No joke, a large group walking by stopped, pointed and said "Look, it's a seat from the Partridge Family bus, and spent the next couple of minutes examining it closely while a we waited behind them to walk from the pool to the elevator. The stroller was effectively blocking the entire walkway while they marvelled over this "bus seat" not hearing "excuse me, can we get by???". So clueless it was actually funny!!
The second one was clearly annoying, 3 adults sitting on lounges next to us chain smoking for over two hours. Bad enough to deal with the smelly smoke for one cigarette but they would each keep relighting up, I swear they went through a whole pack between the 3 of them. People like that is why smoking should be banned everywhere in public, they just didn't get it!!!
People who have their little kids sit on the steps of the jacuzzi (especially with their drinks spilling into the water) blocking the way so that no one can walk up or down the steps (I need to use the steps and the railing). Also kids who swim around underwater while you're sitting in the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi isn't for swimming.
Finally, the people who pull their beach chairs into the middle of a walkway to get better sun and then get annoyed when you have to climb over them. Add to that the people who mark their territory with newspapers and trash spread all around their lounge chairs (into the walkways). The worst was the whole wet soggy newspaper in the beach side of the pool right in front of the lounge chair. The people definitely knew it was there but made no effort to pick it up and put it in the trash.
