Harambe nights?

Not sure of the spelling, but I know I had a fantastic time at this event in 2014. Any word if this will be making a comeback for the "nocturnal" animal kingdom this summer?

That event was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Lion King movie, so I doubt it's coming back.

As part of the night time activities, there will be a street party nightly

Right, the event itself was a one time thing
But, they are incorporating a few of the elements of Harmabe Nights in to the new night actives at AK

The street party, complete with the neon face paint
The stilt walkers
And something else that is escaping my memory right now

I'm just about 100% certain the photos used here are from Harmabe Nights. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe they are staged but it sure looks just like it did that night
