It'll be happy and hectic! Not only will my third-graders be way hyped up about the party in the afternoon, but it is also class picture day. Between trying to keep their Valentine cards from coming out first thing this morning, keeping the cupcakes and other treats covered and out of the way of anxious hands (and mouths), and keeping their pretty little clothes and faces clean and hair-do's looking pretty, I might get a little bit of teaching in. Eight and nine year old kids can be a little wiggly as it is, but with the thought of an afternoon party, they'll be all over the place. It is a lot of fun, and it is a job I do enjoy, but days like this can wear an old person out! Here's hoping the day is happy and hopping for all of you, too!
