We are new DVC owners at SSR, but I am giving my sweet, adorable, wonderful, romantic, husband 25 add-on points at AKV for Valentine's Day, and this post is how he's finding out about it!

Well and WOW...what a wonderful suprise from my gorgeous DW..
A prefect valentines day pressie.
I have always loved staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We had our honeymoon there and during other stays we have always admired the theming of the place. From the "artificial" moonlight to the wonderful carvings. The coolness of the hotel lobby to the tempting smells from BOMA. We have spent evenings listening to stories being told around the firepit, or listened in delight as the BOMA staff broke out into impromptu tribal songs. (We also love AK because of the great attention to detail in places such as the tiger palace and other parts of Asia.)
Having worked in Africa, a stay at AKL is always a wonderful retrieval cue.

Recently we have found staying there becoming more and more problematic as there have been few breaks in the rack rate price and any AP rates we found were for the non savannah view rooms - so this gift means we can get to stay there at least once a year if we wish and spend a delightful evening sipping wine as we watch the giraffes roam below our room ..mmmmmm perfect.
