...just back from 6 day trip with DH 41, DW 35, DS 7 and DD 3.
On Monday 5-13 we started with a nice breakfast at the food court at AS Movies. I am easy to please so I have only good things to say about the food there. We then we to get our bus for Blizzard Beach at around 10 am . I must say I am glad we weren't catching the MK bus because the line was terribly long. I have never been to BB before and we all really enjoyed it. I was a little leary because I read that TL is much more tropical so I didn't expect to find any shade at BB. Well I am glad I was wrong. BB is a very nice place with lots of pretty greenery and an all around nice park. We had no trouble securing a shady spot. My only complaint was those darn lovebugs. That is the only day I noticed them but they were all over and kept landing on my cup. I loved watching DS and DD play at BB. I think they smiled and laughed more that day than any other. I loved the kiddie area it was just right for my kids. DD3 got braver and braver going down on the little slides on her belly. Very cute. We absolutely loved the family raft ride. DD was a little scared but for the most part we loved it!!! The lazy river was where I planned to spend my day (I had been dreaming about it) and DD was really freaked out because there is a part where a fake character sneezes water on you and she is still talking about it. Needless to say the lazy part never happened with me!!!
We stayed until 3 and went to get ready for Chef Mickeys. We had a 5 pm reservation. Chef Mickeys was great, as usual. They took our family pic when we went in and then off to our table. Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale came around. THe food was terrific and dessert was good too. I loved the little chocolate 100 year decorations on some of the desserts. The celebrations were fun. I loved watching my family wave there napkins and laughing. Even DH who is known as Grumpy to us. After dinner we saw Goofy and Donald on the way out. Got great pictures and Goofy is a hoot. We then went to Downtown Disney to look around and visit the Lego store. DS had been patiently waiting for this part of the trip. On the way there, our bus rode through the Grand Floridian. It is so beautiful. When my kids are done making cracker crumbs everywhere they go I'm going to stay there. Even if its a once in a lifetime. It was a great day. Tomorrow is AK and back to Epcot...
