just back from 6 days with DH 41, DW 35, DS7, DD 3.
Our second day 5-12 began with breakfast at Cinderellas Castle(entire review of that on restaurant board). Our ressie was for 8:50 so it was so nice to be in the park before it actually opened. Took great pictures of the desolate main street. My DS got to spar with Cptn. Hook and there were characters all over. Not to mention that they gave my kids a flower to give me for mothers day. To say the least it was fabulous. DD was in awe the entire time. The whole castle thing gave me goosebumps. We got great pictures with Belle, Cinderella, Snow white, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, and Mary Poppins. Worth every penny. After that we stayed at MK until around 4. We went over to do Buzz first and walked right on. It was around 10 am. In fact, we did it twice in a row. Did tomorrowland transit and did the speedway ride. What a joke the speedway ride is. It seems so slow and outdated and still has a long line all the time. Next we went over to toontown. I was disappointed that Donalds boat was closed for repair. We did Mickeys house and saw the Pooh characters in the judges tent. They were very playful and Tigger layed down on the floor and DD went and layed next to him and I got a picture of him kissing her on the head. Very cute.
We did the Goofy barnstormer ride and both kids screamed. They didn't like it. We then had lunch and went to get a space for Share a Dream come True parade. Again we got a great spot near the Hall of Presidents. They only bad thing was the sun in the eyes for half of it. It is a beautiful parade. Disney always amazes me. They still got it. After the parade we went back to the AS Movies resort and had pizza by the pool and did alot of swimming.
Tomorrow, Blizzard Beach and Chef Mickeys....
