Slow starting this morning for me. I have work of course and my brother comes in thsi afternoon to help with the yard sale and th last little bit from the old house. Tonight we are going to dinner with my BIL, his new wife and her sister. It should be so much fun. LOL

Last night was productive though we got all of the stuff put away in the kitchen so it is a finished room. Woohoo one down and way to many more to go. LOL

Good morning, all!

I have work today, but I am off tomorrow! StitchIsOurHero and I are taking a "girl" day! I am excited! The only hitch is that she and her DH are coming over tomorrow night to play (she and I scrapping, the kids - including the DHs - playing play station), but that means I have to pick up the dirty clothes tonight. Oh well, small price to pay!

Good Morning!!
What a great day!! We managed to get some rain last night.. NO storms but some rain.. It's a very cool morning and lovely!!!
On the agenda today? I'm finishing the last load of laundry.. DS10 has a swim party today.. other than that.. WE are FREE!! No 4-H projects, no household major chores.. I'm going to sit on my couch and just enjoy the day and play with the kids... DH is due home tonight too from his out of town meetings so we are thrilled!!!

Happy Thursday again. The week has gotten smoother at work with everyone on the same page now.

Hope everyone's day is bright at least in their feelings- even if the storms take ahold outside.

Started the day (at 4 am) with thunderstorms and rain. It's still sprinkling but no more thunder/lightening.

Today should be a slow day at work plus I'm going in late after getting a hair cut, mostly thinning as I have a thick head of hair. My hair dresser comes in early for me so I'm not too late getting to work - I have to keep her

This weekend my dh and I are planning to go to Brookfield zoo near Chicago as the weather predicts 70s and sunny. First weekend in a long time that I haven't had "work" work to do at home.

Yippee!

We're still at the shore to later today. My BIL and his DW and DD are coming to my MILs house for a day of kiddie pool swimming! Should be fun.

May have to do a little bit more swap shopping, but I can handle that one!

Hi everyone! I hope it is a great day for everyone! Not much planned today--this is my last day until I go back to school that I don't have something planned to do. So, I am going to enjoy it! I hope to read, work on some scrap & swap stuff, and then maybe work out.

We've got RAIN!!! Light rain all day... and it's still 70 degrees but MUCH cooler..
I think it's headed SE.. so hopefully some of you will be getting relief soon!!!

Ah, another humid, hot afternoon here! Today is DH's 30th birthday, and he's working from home today. His parents arrived around lunchtime, and they are taking care of Jonah right now so I have a few minutes to myself! I bought Jonah an "I love my Daddy" outfit and put it on him this morning, only for him to almost immediately have an explosive poo and make a huge mess! He grinned the whole time!

Anyway, tonight we are going to Buca di Beppo, DH's favorite restaurant for dinner. Then opening his birthday presents. Sshhhh, don't tell him, but I got him an espresso machine and lots of accessories to go with it! He's a coffee-aholic.

So that's my day today.
