When our kids feel something is out of their control, they just do not let it go easily.

He went up to his room and chilled out and was fine. It was his hair. His curls are coming back and he thought it was too poofy. So he kept brushing it which made it more poofy. We finally got some hair spray on it, but by the end of the day he was all curls!

We had a great Thanksgiving!! C and G Mama, I'm glad you got the coif dilemma sorted out!!

Zoe is starting to dress herself, which is wonderful. But her color choices, errmmmm.....

She had a turquoise blue tshirt with pink knit pants with brown bon-bons on them (pants are from a Gymbo line called Cupcakes, and she has several matching shirts in brown or pink, but I digress). I cringed, but congratulated her on dressing herself. Later in the day, she spilled her lunch on the shirt, and was sobbing so hard. Sometimes I can't figure out why, like does she think we're mad? Is she upset because she has to change?

Anyway, we smoothed it out. I cooked and my parents came out. Most peaceful Thanksgiving ever. I have 9 nieces and nephews, and when we're all together, it's chaotic. Zoe usually flees to her room, and watches them from afar. But yesterday, it was just our little group, and she was very happy.
