The Google logo is TOO CUTE!!! President Obama told the turkey that he pardoned that it could go live at Disneyland. Loads of cuteness this year.

I've been kinda poopy since we're going be short a member this Thanksgiving due to a death in the family. Couldn't get into it, was dreading it and telling DH I'd like to just blow it off this year.

DH called a caterer. My first catered Thanksgiving.

We'll see how it goes.

What are you all doing? Who is deep frying the turkey?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!

I too am having a rough year, still unemployed after a year and a half and DS (18) is looking for work also so he can start school. However, we do have more at this moment than some and I do have things to be thankful for such as our health....knock on wood.

Hmmmmmm... There are some Virginians that will fight you for the claim to the first Thanksgiving.

DH and I live far from family and couldn't make the trip to be with them so it will just be our small family. We will be celebrating our baby girl's first Thanksgiving, so it is an extra special day for us.

Hmmmmmm... There are some Virginians that will fight you for the claim to the first Thanksgiving.

I've heard of a lot of other spots that claim that the Thanksgiving tradition started elsewhere. I think Plymouth just has a better press agent!
