Happy Thanksgiving to all my DIS-CON cyber-friends, soon to be "for real" and in-person friends at the "Gathering of Friends".
I am so thankful for so many things, including to getting to know all of you wonderful, kind, caring people here on the DIS, although we may be miles away.
I am so thankful to be blessed to be born in the United States...free to be what I want to be....free to work at what I love to do...free to voice my opinion without fear of death...free to pray.
During this day of Thanksgiving, I pray that our soldiers, who are putting their lives in harm's way...some...maybe alone, in the dark, cold, away from famiies, in a foreign country...may be comforted, and kept warm in their heart knowing that we care and pray for them.
During this day of Thanksgiving, I pray for all those dear children without their mother or father or brother or sister or grandparent who was lost because of September 11th, or other naural causes. For the sick, the poor, the homeless, and for all those layed off work or lost their job during this tough economy.
