Australia and many others have already welcomed in 2026; it'll be Europe's turn in about an hour and America's in a little while. Maybe 2026 will be at least a little better than 2025?

It's gonna be a better year.

2025 has been a calamitous year in many respects but fruitful in others. I have or am about to pass exams at Level 4 in Hypnotherapy (two of them) as well as two Level 5 certifications in Advanced Counselling; I have gained Practitioner Diplomas in Hypnotherapy, Counselling and Life Coaching, I have published numerous musical albums, I’ve rested and have formed an unhealthy addiction to watches… but 2025 has also been a year of profound personal illness and political upheaval in the world, neither of which I have relished. I look on to 2026 as the year I start professionally practicing Hypnotherapy in the real world full time, a year of better health and a year of transformation. It’s gonna be a good year.

Well my next WDW trip starts on the 15th of Jan (10 nights), so the year will be starting well for me. I plan on retiring next year as well. I am holding out for full SS retirement age when I will get my check with no deductions for still working which for me will be in June. I do plan on working until the end of the year which will mean getting both a pay check and a SS check for 6 months.
