Happy New Year Everyone !!

As the New Year approaches, I just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and to ask if you're making any New Year's Resolutions this year ?

I'll be making my usual one, to lose a bit of weight, but as I seem to be on a permanent diet, that one doesn't count :rotfl2::rotfl2: I'd give up alcohol, but let's face it, there's no chance of that happening :rotfl::rotfl: I'd give up smoking, but that would be easy as I don't smoke :rolleyes1

Have a great New Year's Eve everyone, what are your plans ? Anything fun ? And I look forward to DISing with you in 2013 ::yes::

Happy new year everyone.

Not made any plans for the evening but going to enjoy not being at work for once.

Not really a resolution but would like to find another job in 2013, preferably one that I trained for at uni.

Happy New Year everyone :)

I don't really so resolutions to be honest, but just wanted to wish everyone a very safe and Happy New Year x

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Happy New Year everyone :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I hope 2013 is a good one for you all filled with health wealth and happiness ..... and lots of Disney trips! :wizard:

I'm not making any resolutions  it's our silver wedding anniversary this year and I'd like to think I could slim down enough to get into my wedding dress although that will be rather difficult because I gave the dress to charity years ago plus I don't like making resolutions that I don't think I'm going to be able to keep! :rotfl:

So ..... I'll say I want to get healthier and fitter :rolleyes1 and be a bit more organised with housework etc as it's a standing joke in our house that the only time it's really tidy is when we're off on holiday.

I havent really got any resouloutions this year just to be healthier and stick to my diet

Happy new year all :)
As for resolutions, I usually dont make them but this year I'm making two!!
First is to give up smoking, well I havent smoked in a few weeks so really my resolution is to stick with it!
And secondly, I want to get my driving license! I've always been afraid to learn but after having DS this year driving is a necessity so I must learn!!
Heres hoping I can stick with it! :goodvibes

Happy new year to one and all :)

I have made a New Year resolution - like Willsmom it's learn to drive. I actually had the same one last year but a job move and other pulls on my time got in the way. I did however buy myself a car (bit backwards I know) so I have no excuse now not to get out there and do it. Fingers crossed for a pass by 2014! :)

Best of luck to those with resolutions :)

Happy New Year everyone!

I've just made the usual promises to myself - stop eating rubbish, get more exercise and lose more weight. I was going really well in the summer but fell off the wagon at half term in October and am having trouble climbing back on. I need to concentrate more on finances and try to organise my time better so that all the jobs get done before they turn into emergencies (you know, do the ironing before you run out of clothes, unload the dishwasher before the last bowl has been used for breakfast etc etc)

Best of luck with the driving! If you need a virtual kick in the rear to get going I'm available lol ;) I'm waiting on the new theory test book to get released so I can get my provisional and then the ball will be rolling :) Nervous but excited! I suppose its never too late to learn but at 30 I kinda thought I'd left it too late!Hoping to prove myself wrong ;)

Good luck to you too! I'm 27 so no early-starter either. I had some lessons at 17 but had to give it up when I started uni. I passed the theory back then but it didn't have the hazard p element etc then and of course that pass has long expired now. :)

Well here goes, loose weight, run the Race for Life, keep the house tidy, keep on top of the washing/ironing, save more, spend a lot less ............ need I go on :lmao: let's see how many of these I've kept to by the end of Jan

Good luck everyone :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY..hope you all had a great time..

I don't make resolutions anymore either as I just fail all the time...normally its to lose weight but I've already failed on that one as the chocolates were silly prices in Waitrose today!!!!:rotfl:

Happy 2013 everyone ..... usual resolutions here that make an appearance every year ...

1. lose weight
2. improve fitness
3. de-clutter house and finish home improvements started in 2012.
4. save money for big vacation in 2014 when I hit a milestone birthday
5. learn to crochet

Good luck to us all with what we aim to achieve.
