Happy New Year 2011! Emily's MAW/GKTW Trip - The Final Gives!

So what's with the all the "hating" on Figment? For me, he's one of the things I remember most from my 2 childhood trips to Disney/Epcot. I think he's cute and remember enjoying the Imagination ride too.

It seems that when I tell people I know (acquaintances not DISers) that Figment is on my "to see", they're pretty negative about it.

So where's the love?

MAW gives you 3 days at Disney. They give you park hopper passes so you can go to 1 or all 4 parks as many times as you want... per day of course!

Ok, good to know! I want to do that all day/night extravaganza at MK and I think we'll need to take a break in the Wish Lounge around naptime and hit GKTW for dinner and then back for the parade and Wishes later. And we might need another break in there at some point too!

The park will have LATE hours when you are there. So assuming your little guys are early risers, you could be in the park early, stay till lunch then go back to GKTW for food and rest. Then head back into the park and stay till midnight if you could make it!!! lol

And Tim, Yes, I am Dising!!! Cant help it!! Besides Im still on east coast time - park doesnt open till 10am this morning!!!

Wow what an increadible story Emily has. Thank you for sharing more of it with us. I love all the pictures. It great to see that even though she's been through so much, see looks like such a happy kid. Great to hear that she's in school and that you guys have a nurse for the extra help. I can't imagine how you do it with triplets, one being sick. Hope you guys get Akerhaus. I'm sure the girls will love it.

I just finished yours and what a punkin' Emily is. She will be blessed with wonderful siblings. They really do turn out wonderful. Mine had a hard time with it when they were younger. They felt like Haylee got all the attention and time. As they got older they understood more.

Haylee's first chair was a Kid Cart also (I'm looking at a pic of her in it that we had taken when she was 2 1/2) I LOVED that chair!!!

I hope Latso is there when you get there. I think the color and strawberry smell is what caught Haylee's attention.

Thanks Renea! I thought you wrote that he really smelled like strawberries, oh my gosh. Em is very responsive to smells too, she has a bear that smells like peaches, she likes it a lot. Emily's PT has already said that we might need to get a new chair for her soon, she got the Kidkart when she was one.

She is a very happy girl most of the time! And we do have a definite reservation for Akershus! I even told DH about it and I think he's ok with it now!

We received our first gift today, true Pixie dust!

Ok, I do have to explain that I opened the envelope when the mail came because well it looked like a credit card offer or something similar and even though I knew we had been chosen for the give, I didn't expect anything so soon! But, I put it away, back in the envelope, and even waited for drew and Dh to get home before I gave it to the kids and explained to them what the give is all about.

I let Drew open this one since he would understand what it was!

"Hmmm, what is in here?"

This was his face when he realized how generous the gift card was!
