I hope you enjoy a nice peaceful lie in and let us Lads pamper and fetch and carry for yers before yer have to get up to make Sunday Lunch, pick us up from the Club, do the washin up, iron the kids' uniforms and stuff for school. Oh, and I need a button on me shirt for work tomorrer.

Yes have a happy special day, you deserve it.

On Father's Day I don't expect as much fuss. A bottle of whiskey will do me and we'll just pretend it's a normal day.

Oh yes. It's "Mothering Sunday" in the UK, isn't it? We don't celebrate "Mother's Day" here in Canada (and the States too, of course) until May.

So a Happy Mum's Day! to my Brit friend, Hilary, and all the Brit mums on the DIS boards and just mums in general.

Heck, Happy Mum's Day! to me too! and I'll wish you all you Brit Mum's a Happy Mum's Day! again in May, too! Us mums deserve 2 days anyway! LOL

I've just logged on to get some smiles from the DIS because I keep being told I'm not allowed to do anything today!!

I'm having lunch cooked for me here at home today - my request, because I thought it would be so nice to eat a nice Sunday Roast meal in my own home without having cooked it (and also I'm on my pre-holiday diet and Darryl took me out for one of our very rare "just the two of us" dinners Friday night since Katie was spending the night with a friend ).
