Best pressie for me is that my son is home from university for the Easter hols.

He bought me the Lego Star Wars game for my DS not a typical Mothering Sunday present but I will enjoy playing it.

Happy mothers day everyone, just prepared our Sunday lunch for later. Now relaxing with a nice cuppa at the moment.

Been spoilt got a lovely Minnie mouse jumper, a lovely pink top a beautiful soap and glory gift set and a fab home made card from my little treasure xx

I bought my mum a Hotel chocolat chcolate dipping set and a book and I am taking her out for sunday lunch in a really nice british/organic restaurant near where we live.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mums

I have had some lovely gifts of my lovely kids .... flowers, smellies, banana toffee from Thorntons ....yum Don't really do breakfast in bed so I woudn't thank you for that, but we are having a nice meal this evening which DH AND I are cooking for my Mum and the kids. Bought my Mum flowers and a lovely top from Marks and Spencers.

I was very spoiled today, I got a bright green ICE watch, two bunches of daffs, a big bunch of tulips, some gardening stuff, some popcorn, two fresh cream eclairs, and two lovely hand made cards.

I bought my mom some No7 makeup that she wanted, and a plant pot that is in the shape of a dog!

I have been so spoilt I have a King triton figurine from all my kids , Cam picked out a stitch figurine, Dan went for chocolate and bought a choc orange , Keira did her job well and steered dad into Pandora for a nice shiny charm and Ben picked me a Mickey Mouse necklace !!

I got a Daisy Duck plush, some Flip-flops, a nautcial necklace, Yankee Candle votives, some Thorntons choccies (which are all gone now ) and some Body Shop smellies ~ thanks girls, I love it all

Whilst we were out visiting Mum and Mum-in-law yesterday my DDs made some cupcakes mmmmmm then today I've been given The Overtones CD and some turkish delight mmmmmmmmm. Now I'm just off to walk the dogs whilst DH gets dinner ready. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day

What lovely presents and cards everyone has had Unfortunately I have been on my own all day as DH, DD are at work and DS is at boarding school but I got given some of my favourite make up (Benefit) and cards. Just wish they could have been here for at least some of the day

My two teenagers forgot about Mothers Day. DH did a night shift last night so he's only up now. Obviously without him here to remind them, they didn't think of it. At 14 and 17 you'd think they could remember it all by themselves! I could kill them. My 7yo is sick with the flu and in bed all day, poor thing, but she did make me a lovely plant pot in school last week so at least I got that. She was so sweet to me. Otherwise I'd feel totally unloved (as opposed to just 95% unloved which I feel now). To make it worse they've all just piled into the car in a not-so-subtle attempt to buy me something from the local shop. I told them not to bother now, it's too late and means nothing now.

Oh dear Deb That's such a shame to hear, those pesky teenagers eh? Lets hope they surprise you with another gift maybe on a different day when you least expect it Still, a happy Mother's day to you and I hope you're youngest feels better very soon
