We are going to Disney from 12-23 to 12-30 and are using Happy Limo with the towncar just to get us to the hotel and back to the airport. Has anyone used this service? If so how were they? Friendly, on time? How much do you tip them for that type of trip? Did they stop of at a grocery store on the way? We are coming into Orlando airport if that helps with the tip question.:wave2: :chat:

I'm interested in knowing this too! We will be using them for the first time this October. I noticed on my confirmation that a $12.50 gratuity was already added for each part of the trip (to hotel and then back to airport). Is this customary? Thanks!

Happy Limo includes the tip in their fee. I like this as I like knowing up front what my total fee is, but some people don't like it. When you reserve, you need to let them know you want a grocery stop. I chose to go with Happy because they use Albertson's. You can fax your order to Albertson's (number is provided on your confirmation) and Albertson's will have your order ready to go when you arrive. All you have to do is pay, load it in the vehicle and you're off again. Huge convenience for my family.

Thanks that makes me feel better knowing that someone else has used them and likes them. I will be sure to fax over my request to Albertson too. Thanks again for your help:wave:

We used Happy Limo. They were fine. We had a grocery stop. They were willing to meet us at baggage claim. They had a car seat for our daughter. There was, may be still, a coupon at Mousesavers for them. They were on time, polite, helpful.

One hitch was that given all our groceries, the driver slid our stroller under something in the car and we did not have the stroller as a result our first day in the parks.

Still, I say they are fine. Those sort of things happens. I mean, we weren't watching all that closely when we unloaded. I consider that joint problem.

I will have to get the telephone number from my travel agent to inquire about or inform them that I want to do a grocery stop. How far in advance do I need to do that with them? Was there a certain grocery store that they stop at? How far in advance do I fax the store with my list? Is there a min/max on the dollar amount at the store? :Pinkbounc

I made reservations well in advance. I don't know if that's necessary. It's just what I did. When I made the reservation, I included that request. As I recall, there are a few stores that they will stop at. Of course, that may have changed. At the time of making my reservations, the person I spoke with gave me the information about the store and how to procedure. She gave me the number of the store and the fax number. She suggested that I be very specific about items on my list. She suggested I fax the week of the trip. I decided to fax it about 5 days out and included a letter with the date and approximate time, which I arrived at by talking to the limo contact as well.
My plan was then to confirm receipt of the fax so as to bring it to their attention and ask on the telephone if it looked clear enough or if there were any problems. They had everything waiting for me when we arrived at the store. There is a charge for this service, you know.

We just got back last week and we used Happy Limo. We had paid for a van but they weren't there when we arrived. I called the company and they had upgraded us - FREE OF CHARGE - to a Hummer Stretch Limousine!! It could seat 20-people and had a disco floor!! We felt like movie stars. They couldn't come down into the regular pick-up area because the vehicle couldn't fit there.
For the ride home they were right on time and the service was excellent both times. We LOVE Happy Limo and will always use them if we fly in.

We ended up with a fancy, long limo for our departure. It was a trip. I inquired and he said it was because of a coupon on Mousesavers. I was too sure about that, but I figured whatever.

Thanks for all that info. I am trying to get everything done ahead of time for this trip in December. I dont want to have too many things go wrong or surprise me. Do you know how much the fee at the grocery store is for a pick up?

If you think about the convenice that this services gives you that fee is not too bad.

When I got our email confirmation the basic rate and tip is added together. The gratuity is 20%.

We're (DH, DS-16, DD-14, and me) taking a stretch limo to/from ASMo from Sanford:tongue: Can't Wait!!

WDW on JUNE 24:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
