I booked Happy Limo to pick up my mom from the Grayhound station and bring her to MCO to wait for us. This is one-way, with a towncar. I was charged $57, and then found out that there was a $10 tip already added to the bill. I thought they only did this with limos.
Now my mom is asking me if she should "give the man a little something" when he brings her to MCO.
I say no, he already got his tip. She says she'll feel funny not giving him anything. I say Happy Limo should feel funny for adding their own tip!
Isn't a tip something you give for exceptional service? Doesn't it make sense to receive the service before being charged a tip?
Anyway, I told mom to keep her money in her pocket and NOT give the driver anything else. I already paid his tip when they charged me the extra $10!
