Happy Limo Gratuities

In my quote, they added in a rather hefty gratuity ($41). I sure hope this is in lieu of tipping in person... or am I wrong and they expect another tip when they drop you off?

Also, they state in their documentation that they do not pick up in the terminal... that you have to call once you have your baggage and are ready to go. What's the point of the reservation if you still have to call them when you get there?

Have you tried yourride.com? We used them and they came in to the airport and help us get our luggage. He was waiting for us with our name on a sign. They were cheaper than Happy limo. I would give them a call.

We used Tiffany Town Car, and the tip was not added to the total bill. Our driver met us at baggage claim with our name on a placard. He helped with luggage and the limo was parked just outside the baggage claim area. The e-mail sent by the company suggested 15% gratuity is considered normal. We had the same driver (Larry) into port and back out to airport at end of cruise. And, they have some sort of license that allows them to pull right up to the pier, and when you get out, their are porters there to take your luggage onto the ship. Then you go in the terminal to register and get your room key. Not sure that is true for all limo services, but maybe for the bigger ones. Also, Tiffany had a coupon for $5 off the total bill you can print via the Internet when you make a reservation. Not sure it is still going on, but take a peek. We were very pleased with the service.
 
maybe happylimo wants you to call in case you have flight or luggage problems. I have been given this explanation when i have tried to line up hotel shuttles from the airport in the past...

ONCE YOU CALL OUR TOLL FREE NUMBER, THE DRIVER WILL ARRIVE AT A SPECIFIC PARKING SPACE NUMBER ON LEVEL-1 WITHIN 5-6 MINUTES. OUR DISPATCHER WILL DIRECT YOU TO A SPECIFIC PARKING SPACE NUMBER. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IF YOU MUST HAVE OUR DRIVER MEET YOU IN THE BAGGAGE CLAIM AREA THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT 20-25 MINUTES WHICH IS THE TIME IT WOULD TAKE THE DRIVER TO WALK BACK TO HIS VEHICLE AND DRIVE IT TO YOUR TERMINAL. YOU MUST INFORM US IN ADVANCE IF YOU WISH TO HAVE THE DRIVER MEET YOU IN THE BAGGAGE CLAIM.
