I found this on Deviantart and I remembered that it's the twelfth anniversary of Pokemon. The actual anime anniversary is in April.

Makes me all nostalgic. Pokemon, the show and the games, used to be my life.

Hah, I loved pokemon when I was little.
Except now its just..too weird for me.

I used to be obsessed with Pokemon. I had like a bunch of the trading cards and I remember having Pokemon pajamas. XD

I still play the games and watch the show. *issuchanerd*

I was never into Pokeman, but I do remember thinking that Pikachu (or whatever it's name was in that picture) was really cute.

I used to be obsessed with Pokemon. I still play the video games. My favorite Pokemon are Pikachu and Vulpix. When I went to the Japan in Epcot, it all came back to me. I was like "OMG! Mom! There's tons of Pokemon stuff! Can I please have a Pikachu stuffed animal?" I still want that stuffed animal.. =[

My parents humor me while in Disney with stuff like stuffed animals. In grade 6, I bought a Hello Kitty character change purse.
And in grade 7 I bought a Stitch stuff animal.

Haha. My parents won't get me any more Pokemon stuff. I still have the cards. I never really did get the trading game. I just collected them. I even have both Pokedexs. I have the old one and the new one.:p

Yeah. I'm deep.
It makes me cry, too. My Pokemon the first movie soundtrack is somewheres. =[ It got scratched up a lot. The last 7 songs were skipping. Which the last song, that played during that scene was my favorite. It was Brother My Brother or something like that.

:lmao:
that picture mad me crack up

Aw, man, I had no idea! I'm still a huge Pokemon addict and would have definitely celebrated. I watch the show, collect the toys and cards, and play the games all the time- it's hard to believe it's been twelve whole years since it came out. Although it might not seem so long to me because I didn't get into until '03, due to not being allowed to watch, play, or otherwise get invovolved with the Pokeymans. (Except for two Lego figures, and astronaut and her friend, named Pikachu and Eevee. :p) Nice picture, too. Brock =.

But I wish that I'd known, that would have been cool. Though... thinking about it, I actually might have bought a PokeDoll that day. So in a way,- I kinda did celebrate. :D

POKEMON!

I remember when it was the best thing at school. Everyone would bring in their games, their cards, etc. I remember my friend let me borrow his level 100 Vulpix or something... and I forgot to give it back, I still have it... I still have loads of the older cards in a folder. I wonder how much money I could get for them...

I loved the Gameboy games.
I loved them to death. But I sucked at them bad, I mean there were a few times, in order to be the ... god, I don't whatever league it was in Gold, I had to borrow my friends Pokemon to beat it so I could go play in the original Pokemon gyms.
I started getting pissed though with Nintendo though, because it seemed everytime a new Pokemon game came out, a new handheld thing would come out, so you'd need to buy a freaking a new console thing. It was lame. And still is.

I love Pokemon! Well, I love the older Pokemon.

The games are awesome. I own the Ruby, Fire Red, and Diamond versions (Diamond=win, even though I prefer the older pokemon designs).

My favorite Pokemon is probably Lucario or Dragonite. My least favorite is Raichu; if you ever get a Pikachu, don't give it a Thunderstone!

The show used to be awesome, but now it just sucks. It's trying to destroy my memories, DARNIT! I remember: Monday-Friday, after school. Kid's WB, Pokemon at 4:00 PM, and later Yu-Gi-Oh! at 4:30 PM (that was another show that went downhill; I hate Yu-Gi-Oh! GX with every FIBER OF MY BEING)... and new episodes on Saturday... The memories.

Can anyone tell me where I can find a massive DVD box set of the first five seasons before Misty 'left' and the series began to suck? If you can, I'll love you forever.
