Happy Hour

Tell me about any recent happy hours. Especially interested in ones on the Fantasy. We seem to miss them every time.

Happy hour? On the ships? This is a first I have heard of it. I do know of "drink of the day" and
various specials but I didn't know they had specific time period like happy hour.

We always stumble upon them when they are nearly over. I think they generally run around main dinner seating. But this cruise we have late dining. So we are hoping to find a couple. I know the pub had one on the Dream in October.

They did start having some after the reopening. I know we had them on our Oct cruise. The location and time showed up in the app. I went to one at the champagne bar after dinner around 9pm and it was a discount on all their champagne cocktails, I think half off but the cocktails were good so my memory is fuzzy, lol. Not sure if still happening though.

Interesting! In 6 cruises I've never heard of a happy hour. lol I know I always make sure to get to the atrium for the Captains Welcome (or whatever it's called) where they're handing out free drinks though!

There are happy hours here and there. We just seem to find out about them when they are nearly over or our dining time is during it. I don’t think they are doing the Captain’s reception right now. There wasn’t one on our October cruise. But maybe now that they are no longer requiring mask indoors it will return. They are fun.

Yeah I haven't cruised since pre-covid. I can't wait to get back on the ship. 59 more days!

Ooh, I didn't know about happy hours. Will keep an eye out for them during my cruise in June. Lol, although I won't need them the 3 days I have tastings!

We're heading out on the Fantasy this Saturday and have the late dining. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on the Navigator to see if there's happy hours before our dinner since we have the late dining as well. Thanks for the head's up!

When we went in February, there were multiple happy hours every evening. They were just listed on the app.

I happened on one on Castaway one day. I ordered a Malibu and Diet and the bartender said "Two? It's happy hour, so 2 for 1." I said "It's just me..." and he said "It's a long walk back to the ship..."

Not since the the restart.They’ve been avoiding activities that draw large atrium crowds.
