Thought I'd log on and say a quick hi to everyone and let you know what it's like here right now.

We have been here since 23rd, weather has so far been amazing. Probably our best December weather ever. Hitting 80s most days :thumbsup2

Our august on site trip at Yacht Club really spoiled us. Am missing the magic bands and convenience of bus transport. Now so many people have them it really affects queue times.

Went to MK on Christmas Day. We hear it hit capacity and was closed 11-3.30 but it didn't seem that bad in there. Wait times of 40 mins on Haunted Mansion, POTC etc seemed ok to me and we got seats in Pecos Bills for lunch easily enough. People were however queuing at 9am for lunch at BoG? Maybe we were just in right place at right time. We had dinner at Crystal palace so that was easy. Night time was worse as people came in for electrical parade and fireworks. People started sitting down at 7 when parade was 9 and fireworks 10. We left at 9 to beat crowds.

Hit the sales yesterday. Loads of bargains to be had. Glad we went early though as when we left Prime at 1pm traffic was pretty much right down I drive to the big McDonalds. Lord knows how long you'd have waited to get in and parked from there. Didn't seem quite so bad at Premium LBV which is good as we are staying just down road so have to go past there to get in and out.

We are staying at Fairfield in Marriott Village. It seems quieter than on previous trips. There's no football teams or massive tour groups which is unusual. Have tried a couple of new eating places which get a big thumbs up. BJs brew house which is just behind our hotel food is very good and not badly priced and a place called The Pub at Pointe Orlando we stumbled across this by accident yesterday and popped in for lunch so DH could catch up on football results. Again very good food and reasonably priced. :thumbsup2

Hope everyone enjoys rest of your Christmas break :)

Glad you're having such a good time; Christmas in MK with dinner at Crystal Palace sure beats picking up loads of wrapping paper & peeling sprouts :goodvibes
