It is so hard to believe another year has come and gone - I think of so many of you that have come into mine and Norm's life and not neccessary because of the shop and have made such a difference - you have been there for the tears of joy and the tears of saddness - no matter what happened to anyone of us - you was there with a hug - I think of the good which most important Norm got better and I also - I think of Nate, April and so many other little ones with challenges so young in life - there has never been a time, each of you haven't rose to the occassion - no matter who it was on this board that needed a group hug you have been there - I have read it over and over again and with so much kindness and concern for each other so on this day of Saturday, December 20th and 5 days before Christmas, I want to wish for each of you everything that could be good, magical or just awesome for all the years to come - I wish for you and yours always a happiness that comes from within and that faith will wipe away all fears and tears - If I had to go today, I could say, I HAVE BEEN BLESSED by so many that have become personal friends - To Pete Werner, to D.A.I.D., to Andy, to Barb and Tony, to Dave and to all the webmasters that have to step in at times needed and all of those that are more than I can mention - thank you for helping so many in so many ways - D.A.I.D - what can I say about you except thank you for the steps you took to bring so many smiles - It was hard to see you leave, but I know that even tho you took your kindness with you - you left so many with magical treasures of memories -I wish for you all the wonderful things life can offer.
As I close this - just remember no matter how good or how bad things may feel or look - keep the faith - it will all be ok - love your husband, love your wife, love your family and your friends - keep your little ones safe and remember they are babies only once and what they become is up to us - children are so innocent and deserve so much and I do not mean monentary stuff - they are our future, our love and deserving of us not to abuse them.
(believe me I raised a bunch of kids and the only reason I didn't choke them was cause I knew someday they would learn on their own)
M-E-R-R-Y C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S, H-A-P=P=Y everything to which is your belief and creed. Just be happy and enjoy life for it is so short - know I appreciate each of you and most of all I love you all.
With all our love, with all of our thanks,
Shirley and Norm

May each of you have a Blessed Holiday. Have a safe, and wonderful time. For each of you traveling, my prayers are for a safe journey. Shirley, it is amazing how God sent me to this sight to read this message, because I really needed to read this. I have been pretty down lately because of back-to-back surgeries starting at Thanksgiving. I know I am blessed to be here, don't get me wrong. I just wanted to tell you how your thread has lifted my heart today. Thank you so much. Have a great holiday.

Thank you for a wonderful Christmas message that came just at the right time at my house.
May God bless you in 2004.

Happy Holidays to All, especially to my Dmom Shirley who has adopted me into her ever growing family, you are such a sweetie and I love you and Norm. ::yes::

This has been the most incredible year for our family, we like many others have had our ups and downs, but, our ups, far outweigh, our downs. It has been truly amazing meeting such WONDERful and MAGICal friends on the DIS site. This was the first forum site that I ever have had the priviledge of joining, and I know I have made lifelong friendships from this site.

Here's wishing that 2004 will be a year filled with more "JOY" than sorrow, more "LAUGHTER" than heartache, and more "LOVE" than hate.

All the best, from my family, to yours!!!

After putting the lights on our tree this morning, this is the first ornament that was put on the tree.

Shirley,
Once again, as so many times before, you bring a tear to my eye. I am constantly amazed at the kindness of others on this board. May God bless you and your family. May He grant you peace, love and happiness. You are such a special lady and you have touched the lives of so many. Thank you for always doing so much for so many. I look forward to contacting you after the holidays to make arrangements for our baskets in January.
Have a safe and very merry Christmas!!!
With the deepest appreciation and admiration,
Karen

Dear Sandie
I just wanted to say that I can understand your pain in your loss, but the good part is - time does help heal the pain and the bad part is that it doesn't come soon enough - but you always have the memories - I always pick one star out of the night and I put one of my love ones names on it and when I go walking - I speak directly to that one star presenting like my parents, my kids etc - believe it or not it helps - also thanks for the prayers for the boys overseas - my grandson Michael and Nicholas is still there and both feel so overwhelmed, but both are one proud young men - both will be back in February after a year away from home -
Anyhow I wish for you a wonderful Holiday and hope that all will be well up your way.
Much love
always
Shirley

as I said - this board never ever fails to give group hugs when it is needed - God sure made some special folks to hang out here with -----:wave2:
Anyhow keep in touch

I hope all DIS'ers have a wonderful holiday season. Remember put aside all petty differences, love and keep close all those who you love, and please help those who need it.
