Happy! Happy! Waitlist came through!!

Planned a trip a few weeks ago for September, basically spur of the moment trip for only two days for me sans DH; my sister and niece are staying 4 days. I'm using up a few remaining days on the military ticket deal. Passed up Kidani and booked OKW; waitlisted for BWV standard to save points(our home resort) or AKV Jambo--I'm a hotel girl at heart.

After less than a week went to the DVC website and there it was---BWV standard studio!!!! I'm so psyched since I'm spending all my time for those two days at Epcot with maybe a quick trip to the MK for Wishes. Dreams really do come true--I had to sit on my hands today not to book the preferred view--so glad I waited!

I called Member Services to order an AP today for December--the CM just kept congratulating me for snagging a MK view at BLT; she must have said it 3 times!

I'm just so happy to be able to walk to and from Epcot--as long as the monsoons aren't too bad when we're there. I've been in Sept so I know how it can be. This is kind of a single visit for me since my sis and niece will be using the water park part of their tickets and won't set foot in a park this trip. Knowing I can meander back through the IG just makes my day.

Did you waitlist your entire stay?

Yes, for the entire stay. Some of it was available, but there were a few days right in the middle that weren't. We're traveling with a 3 year old, and didn't want to split our stay this time.

Great! Enjoy a wonderful stay! Walking to the IG, spending most of the time at Epcot, but also going to see Wishes are things that I especially enjoy as well!

Congratulations!! We have been on the waitlist for 5 months now for BCV and it has not come thru yet. It was for July however, which is a very busy time. Have a great time.
