Yes indeedy the waitlist came through. I've been building my beach club weekend day by day and finally settled for Saturday (of all days) at Boardwalk then Sunday through Wed at Beach Club followed by Wed through Sat at Animal Kingdom.

Now I've got just Beach Club Villas and AKL. The icing on the cake would be to get an EPCOT view away from the dumpsters on the third floor or higher...followed by a Savannah view that lets me see animals.

Thank God I'm going to Disney.

I just got "downsized". On the whole I think its a good thing...I needed to move on because it appeared that development was over for that office. But of course one wants to move on, on ones own terms!

Still...thank god for DVC...vacation is mostly paid for and I haven't been off for more than two weeks in over 20 years. My package gives me a 10 week cushion...I figure between unemployment and the package I'm comfortable for 3 or 4 months if I continue to spend at my usual pace. Of course I won't be doing that so...it should last longer than that if i'm careful.

Keep your chin up! I have a couple siblings in tech careers and they are forever changing jobs.

And congrats on your wait list victory. It's also good to know there are still a few Ren & Stimpy fans out there!
