This year, my big gift is the dog's vet bills. She spent a few days at Tufts Vet. School between Christmas and New Year's, and all I can say is -- OY! I told DH, no gifts, just my puppy's health.
Anyway, at my age a birthday is -- er -- a double-edge sword: glad I made it through another year, but I hate how the numbers keep adding up, along with the aches and pains
