I had just noticed the private message area. I am a rookie! It was really nice to see all these wonderful notes. Thank you! I haven't been on the site much until just recently. We had planned a trip to Disney for the 4th of July. I had a friend mention to me about this sight about a month before our trip. I got on and loved it, signed up, and asked a question. I was able to get answers to that and many other questions just by reading. Then the worst thing happened. On June 28, I slipped on a hill on my way to watch my kids softball game and broke my ankle. At the emergency room once they told me it was definitely broke, all I wanted to know was "could we still go to Disney in 4 days?" They told me sure, just go to the othopedic dr., he'll put you in a walking cast, and you are good to go. Monday I went to the dr. and he said I needed immediate surgery, showed me the xray, and I just started bawling my eyes out. He thought I was upset and scared about the surgery, and began to explain how there was hardly any risk involved with the surgery, etc. I looked at him and said you don't understand, I've got to go home and tell my kids we aren't going to Disney!!! So since the surgery anything Disney really depressed me until my husband and I decided "Let's start planning for next year!" So here I go. That's when I actually noticed the birthday greetings. How wonderful!! Since I am off work with the injury I have time to check the sight out regularly and I've even signed up for some of the rewards programs. Thanks again for making me smile!
