Happy Administrative Professionals Day to all those Administrative Professionals out there

Did anyone do anything nice for you today?

I got Lilacs from a co-worker, cut from her yard. They smell yummy. And we have a luncheon for all of us support staff at noon.

In my old office they used to give us flowers and nice little cards and stuff. This year, after talking to a former co-worker from that office, I guess they didn't even get a thank you.

SOOOO, if you're NOT an Administrative Professional, be sure to give a 'thank you' to those support staff in your office! They (we) really appreciate it!!

Every year our boss' pay for us three girls to go for lunch. However it has been three years now since I had a raise.

I'm a paralegal and one of the attorney's I work for got me a 5 lbs. bag of Smarties and a ton of cute Post-Its.

I work at a synagogue and got a nice "Thank You" from our Rabbi...and tons of work from our Executive Director.

i work for a lawyer - its a small office and he took me and the other lady out for lunch! He shows his appreciation all year - taking us out for lunches for holidays/b-days etc.!

Got a nice box of chocolates and a very nice Thank You for all you do card with a handwritten note included.

We purchased some flowers (tulips) for our administrative professional. We also had a cookie cake thing. Yum! I personally thanked her and told her I appreciated all her hard work.

Nothing, no acknowledgement, nada - but then again, in this office, I wasn't expecting anything anyways. At a previous job, I would get taken out to lunch at Red Lobster.

I asked one of my colleagues with a company cc to take me to lunch for admins day. I don't technically work for her, but I do a lot for her, such as proofreading, formatting documents, etc. When we got back from lunch, I asked the office manager what were they going to give out for Admin's day....then another exec came by and I asked him the same thing. They both said they did not know it was today....I knew that they never did anything, but it was fun just to see their reactions

We had a nice catered lunch for our admin staff, and gave each of them a $50 American Express gift card. We also brought in some breakfast treats for them.

I would just like to say THANK YOU! I don't know what I would do without the two wonderful ladies in our school.

Our boss treated all his staffs (6 of us) to lunch and we also all received a small gift and a $ 25.00 gift certificate from Mary Kay!

In our offices, we also provided a nice catered hot lunch, customized hershey bars, and the reusable cold cups with straw that everyone is using now. They all love the cups. Everyone seemed to appreciate everything. Some also got flowers or taken to lunch on another day by those that they directly support but not everyone.
