Happily Ever After....fast pass??

I know they had a section of the hub roped off for people who booked a Wishes Fastpass. I almost did that fast pass a few times, but either did rides or meet n greets instead. This year, I'm going with my 6mo son, so I figured that Fastpass-ing HEA would be great so we had a decent spot to view it, and wouldn't have to wait too long (hopefully he will be fast asleep in his stroller).

But, today was my 60 days, and I logged on right at 7, and saw none. :-( Are they not doing Fastpass with the new show??

MK fireworks have not had FP+ for over a year
Generally the Adventureland side hub grass is open for all guests to view fireworks from

@SureAsLiz is correct, they haven't been offering fireworks FPs for awhile now. The "East" Plaza Garden (one of the former FP areas) is dedicated to a dessert party. The "West" Plaza Garden (in front of Casey's) is usually open to anyone and frankly a very good place to watch from. Many people "think" it's a special area given the configuration of that fences, but it's not. That's my preferred viewing spot frankly.

There are some nights where that area is for VIP or private party usage but it's rare and it'll be obvious with cms guarding it and ropes that say reserved. if the ropes aren't there, jump on in.

Thanks all!! I guess I will be stalking the West Plaza Garden for a good spot to view the fireworks. How late do you think I could grab a spot (big enough for a stroller and two adults, standing or sitting)?? I'm worried if my LO is not asleep, how long we can keep him happy before the fireworks.

That's harder to say, especially with a stroller. The spot usually has space the entire time but it's getting to the spot that will become a challenge and one reason it's a gem of a location if you can get to it. I like being too early (generally I aim for the time that move it shake it ends) but you can combine it with 1 of you running for some popcorn, hot dogs at casey's or something from sleepy hollow (my personal recommendation as casey's could easily have a 30-60 minute line, the same goes for nearby popcorn) but peopel forget about sleepy hollow just next to that side of the hub. Make it a family picnic snack/meal time while you wait for it to start.

OK, so forgive the dumb questions but I want to make sure I understand right, because we're heading down soon and want to catch the new shows on June 30th. We don't eat in the restaurants, so I'm not as familiar with them as most people here are. If we're walking down Main St toward the castle, Casey's is on our right, correct? I know CP is on the left as we face the castle. So the garden area in front of Caseys' is the one we can go to? I figured it would be one of the first places to fill up, but it's not? I would assume the view from there is pretty good?

this is robos map of the fireworks viewing.

It's a funny spot as when you walk up to it, you see the fastpass tapstyle still there and more just assume they can't watch from that location so it's one of the last spots to fill up in the hub, but the hub all around it does fill up pretty quick making it a wall of people to get through to the entrance. It's listed as all guests, open viewing on the map above.

Take note of the area, specifically how you get into it when you get there. There is only ways in from 2 sides and it's not the main street side.

I would show up at least 45 min before the show. We were there about a week ago to see the new show and I remembered people on here mentioning the grass area being fairly empty to see the show..we checked about 30 min before and it was packed full.

DOES anyone watch from fantasyland anymore? That was always our favorite sport for wishes

I watch from all over, but there is no projections except for the front of castle so you actually don't get the full show and just the fireworks from anywhere else. Wishes was just fireworks.
