I emailed cineplex last night....this is the answer I got. SUCKS for western Canada AGAIN (we didn't get the concert, HSM on ice, HSM tour,etc....).
Dear Liz,
In order to present the Disney Digital 3-D format that the film Hannah Montana is filmed in, a special digital projector is required. At this time, Cineplex Entertainment owns only five of these projectors. Four of them are located at theatres in southern Ontario, including Niagara Falls, Mississauga, Woodbridge, and Scarborough, and the fifth is located in Montreal. As these projectors cannot be moved from theatre to theatre, we will not be able to show this film in our western Canadian theatres.
