I will presume that codes are far and few between so I will not ask.

Do the dresses run true to size? How about the comfy clogs? I see this outfit that I need ;) to get for my DD. I like it so much I am even willing to pay full price:scared1: :scared1:

I'm not sure about the clogs, but the clothing runs pretty true-to-size. Look at their height/weight chart and order exactly the size that your DD's measurements fall into. Don't order big...the sizes are a pretty generous range. I bought ALL of DD's clothes from HA during her first year. She was a really big baby, and that was the only brand that fit. Also, it Ebays VERY well. I'd look on Ebay first for the outfit that you like. Some of the styles don't change much year after year, and you may find that exact outfit or a very similar one for less $$.

The only Hanna code that I ever saw was out like 2 years ago.

Codes - no. Sales - yes. Get on their email list and you'll get all the emails regarding sales. There are two big sales a year and sometimes a few price reductions in between.

Once in awhile when I have to have something I pay full price, but usually I can get it if I wait for the sale. Just jump on it when you get the sale email because the kids clothes sizes sell out fast during the sales.

The sizes run true - they're sized for shrinkage so out of the box may seem a little big but once washed will be true to size.

I absolutely love Hanna Andersson's fabric and quality, wish my DD was still young enough to enjoy their clothes (she's 13, into Abercrombie & Fitch now :sad2: ). The women's clothes are great too.

The only thing that you may want to watch for are the pajama's, they changed the style as the older ones weren't snug fitting.

I have been ebaying to get the older ones as I know they will last at least 2 years; the new style, not sure about them.

Hanna's last and last and then get nearly full price on e-bay, a wondrous thing!

Stick to their measuring chart and don't order big unless your child is on the cusp of their chart; for instance if you daughter is 33.5 inches tall, go a size up.

My DS#1 has had tons of Hanna's and nothing has ever been small or snug at all runs very true to size. I've bought several outfits over and over as he grew b/c the stuff is just so cute! :yay:

Does this include the zippers? I was going to Ebay some of DD's infant zippers, but I'll hang onto them for when we have a 2nd child if this is the case. The reason that we relied on Hanna Andersson clothes so heavily in DD's infant year is because DD was HUGE and they were the only pj's cut large enough to fit her. We would have had to make our own clothes or something if they were cut "snug fitting" like all the other brands:sad2:

Yes, it includes the zippers. I measured one of my daughter's current zippers against the same size one at the store, length is the same but a lot less wide. They will fit very snug; my daughter hates snug fitting clothes. Currently she can wear an 80 but am ebaying 90's and have the couple I picked up at the last clearance sale; 6 zippers will hopefully get us through for a couple of years.

Of course, this is making the "old style" zippers sell for more money on ebay.

Well my kids are on the small size, but my friend ordered my DD a dress that twirls for her 3rd birthday. It is lovely, but very big on her. She does wear about a 2 or 3 T in dresses, but this is much better then that (size 2-3 years old.) I am not worried, I know she will grow into it. Then again why I am only buying 2 or 3 T right now, she can still fit in some 18 months clothes, so it might just be she is tiny. Since it is a dress she could wear it now, but says it is too big. She loves to twirl so it really is a great dress for her.

Anyway my opinion is they run on the big size, but like I said, my girls are small.

I love Hanna Andersson!! I've detoured on the way home from family vacations to visit an outlet store :). The nearest store is 4 hours away, the nearest outlet closer to 5.

I've only seen a 20% off code once, good on my entire order. It's been 2-3 years.

Both girls still wear HA, when they were younger we always had the playdress/leggings sets and souvenir sundresses and wore them all the time. Now it's the sweats, sweat shorts, tank tops, and capri sets and sweater dress sets. They were in 90 and 110 when I started buying Hannas now its 130 and 140.

Right now winter basics including coats are on sale. Twice annual sales are in June and December, right before Christmas. I know I've ordered on Christmas eve before. The middle sizes go the fastest, 100-130.

I am very glad that I read your post. I almost Ebayed some of DD's gender-specific Hanna zippers. I won't do that now in case we have a second child who is also a very large baby. Now I wish that I hadn't gotten any gender-specific colors, though. I can't believe that they're making them snug fitting now:mad: DD is in 90's already, and I think we have 3 or 4 of the zippers. We only have one pair of the 2 piece "long johns" pj's in 90, though. I won't be buying any more new ones if they are snug-fitting:mad:

i have hannah jammies that have been worn by 8 children over the last 18 years that i just sold today at a garage sale. they were in great shape, very little fading and the zippers still worked. we love hannah clothing. my son no longer likes it, not cool, but the girls love it and it is sooo cute. we have had things actually be a little too big, but never small. i bought dresses for my daughters a year ahead, and they were too big. i bought them to wear 2 easters ago and they fit last easter. they were a whole year too big. the rest of the time they have fit true to size.

Everything I've ordered for my girls has run a bit large.

As far as the sales, I can never seem to find the dress with the matching leggings or tights in the right sizes when there is a sale, so I go ahead and order what I want at full price. :sad1: I hate to do it, but the stuff is so darn cute.

I'm bummed about this as well! My Mom was at the outlet in Kittery, Maine last weekend and I asked her to look for the old style PJ's - they didn't have any! I'm not sure if they didn't have any in the sizes we wanted or if they plain did not have them. I love those jammies!

Another Hanna Anderson lover here!! LOL The clothes are just so darn cute and irrestible and you really can't beat the quality.

When Hanna Andersson responded the complaint that the jammies and zippers weren't compliant with the sleepwear law, they were put on clearance in the outlets as "loungewear" they went for $5 each! One of the clerks in Kittery said they were gone in a couple of hours even though she was limiting quantities, which is why there are so many NWT Hanna zippers on e-bay right now.

Still annoyed I missed that sale!

Good to hear all these replies. I would normally try to find something on Ebay but I am not sure how the outfit will go over and I would like the option of returning it. SHe is turning 8 and it may be too babyish for her. Especially when her 10 y/o sister sees it;) I swear my 10 y/o wears nothing but ripped jeans and tees anymore.

HI,
Jusat be careful at the outlet stores. I was in Kittery a month ago and had ordered my daughter a shirt on sale on line and i wanted another color that wasn't available on line. They had it in the store but it was full price. Quite a few things I had gotten n sale were not marked down there so check on line first. I love her clothes too very different and pretty. The PJ's Sara's prints? Not sure of name,I have seen occasionally in BJ's wholesale club so be on the lookout there as well.
