I was up at 6 am on our first full day at WDW. After a quick shower and making myself presentable I woke Maddie and Bryan.
"A quick shower."
Uh, huh.
I live with three, count 'em
three women.
There's no such thing as a quick shower.
When you say "quick", do you mean less than 30 minutes?
We were out of the room by 6:45
You only left them five minutes to get ready, didn't you.
I'm willing to bet that no matter how old she gets, she'll always have a nice pose for the camera.
At $2.76 with tax those eggs were the dining bargain of the trip!
Maddie claimed to be STARVING, so she ate while we waited.

Don't know why, but that cracks me up.
(no pun intended)
We did stop at French Quarter that morning, but if I remember correctly (and lets be honest I probably dont) that was the only time that we stopped there on our way to a park.
When we were there, I don't think our bus stopped there
once.
I was always very pleased with the POR bus service.
OMG! Those three pictures with her taking off to the castle!
Priceless!
Especially that last one!
While we waited behind them the mom made the CM at the podium tell her the price of each individual service while her husband used a calculator to check the savings of buying each service in different groupings.
Disney is not a place for the meek of money.
While we were waiting, Maddie was dying to go in and check out the dresses.
I bet! She could probably just barely contain herself, right?
I heard the squeal at the same time I saw her. She was holding the Anna coronation dress.
dun dun dunnnnnnn
People were charging $500 and up for one Disney Store Elsa dress on Ebay!
People are nuts!
(like I haven't been there.

)
So after months of searching, when I saw Maddie round that corner with a grin from ear to ear and holding that dress a few tears of joy sprang to my eyes.
Awwwww.....
I did control myself though, my husband would have made fun of me forever for that one.
Yep.
I know
I would!
And you know what? Even the fourth time around its still pretty magical to see your little girl be made into a princess.
I'm torn.
On the one hand, I'm so glad it wasn't around when my rugrats were little...
On the other.... I wish it was around when my rugrats were little...
She's very serious about keeping the dust out of her eyes
Sure looks that way!
A dusty faced princess simply will not do!
As we stepped out the door I grabbed Maddie and pulled her back into my chest. A HUGE mob of people was pushing and shoving its way through the castle tunnel and wed almost stepped right into its path.
In the wild kingdom, the mother bear's instincts will always protect her cub.
Wed just experienced our first Anna and Elsa Rope Drop.
Ah.
A line of CMs were directing traffic around the left side of the carousel and standing guard to keep anyone from attempting to cut through the right side.
They have less security for an armored truck!
With pity in her eyes the CM looked from my little princess fresh from the BBB in her Anna dress back to me and said gently Four and half hours. Youll really want to be in line outside by 8 oclock if you want to wait less than an hour or two.
I smiled reassuringly at her and said Oh! I have fast passes for later this week.
And now I was smug again
Up Next: Magic Kingdom in the morning!
Thanks for the chapter Shantafrass!
