My husband went for handy. Guess I went for hot, because, while he does have skills he doesnt use them often.

DH votes "HOT"! Says he can hire people all day long to fix things or do it himself...that's *NOT* what he needs a woman for. (He's proven this over and over to be a true statement. )

I am the handy one. My grandpa once tried to show DH how to change spark plugs and he got one stuck. Grandpa said he had never seen anyone get one stuck before After that he quit trying to make DH handy

Well since I hijacked my DH's username years ago I'll answer for him. He'd definitely say hot because I'm pretty useless when it comes to handy type things. I can't cook, I don't clean, so that leave me as hot!

LOL! DH Obi-Wan knows NOTHING.. NOTHING about cars, tools, etc. I'm the kind of knowledge geek that watched PBS repair shows in my teens because it was interesting and I learned new stuff. Norm Abram was cool! I now have a workshop to make a lot of men jealous and built my own kitchen cabinets

Same with my car.. my ex was a backyard mechanic and I watched because like I said, learning how things work and how to do things fascinates me. One time my car broke down with DH Obi with me, I pulled over to the side of the road, popped the hood because I knew what was wrong (I had a loose plug wire). Matt got out of the car and started poking things under the hood like he was Mr. Mechanic. I stood back and watched him poke the washer fluid container a few times.. dust off the radiator cap... pluck on a belt... and then asked him if he had the slightest idea what he was doing. He sheepishly looked at me and said no. I told him "get back in the car". I fixed the wire, started the car and we went on our way. Poor guy.
