Handy Manny at Hollywood and Vine

It also lists some other upcoming character changes around the parks!

(And for those wondering..Phineas and Ferb probably won't be out and about until at least 2011.)

Jojo and Goliath will no longer meet near Playhouse Disney Live. Jojo will remain at the Play’n'Dine meal where she’ll be joined by Handy Manny.

Doesn't mention the Little einsteins. Are they adding Handy manny to the lineup or replacing Little Einsteins with Handy Manny? I was hoping for jojo to be replaced by Handy Manny. We looove the Little einsteins. If Little einsteins are out, I'll guess I'll be cancelling that ADR...

I agree that Jojo should be replaced- a bit outdated since Jojos Circus isn't even on TV anymore! My DS2 has no idea who Jojo is.

In that case, it's a keeper.

And yes, as of right now we're doing 6 character breakfasts . H&V one was the one on the "chopping block," which would have reduced us to 5 breakfasts, but Handy Manny has now talked me into keeping it.

We went in mid Feb for the breakfast. Was a basic buffet but I dont remember any stand outs good or bad. It was pretty empty so the Character were almost TOO present! With a visit every four minutes we were left with lots of cold food.
But I think we lived on fruit and Mickey Waffles that week!

Thanks! I had been waiting for this info, as we love Handy Manny.

Hopefully, they have improved the food, service and check-in process at H & V, as it's pretty much horrible in all respects.

We are not on the DP, so for us, we can take it or leave it, but we'll give it another try.

Just wanted to point out though, that both All Ears and WDWinfo are showing the same price for breakfast and lunch (both of these websites are frequently incorrect, but Disney doesn't show buffet prices on their website). The price is $26.99/adult. When you add in summer surcharges, this takes it to $30.99 for breakfast, which is outrageous, so we are doing lunch instead.

Just FWIW, our experience at H&V was much different than the above 2 posts... We were there in December 09 and had no issues with check in, the characters were present but not overly so, my son loved the "mickey mouse clubhouse" songs, etc (he was 21 months old) and we found the buffet good. Not as good as our breakfast at Tusker House, but we definitely enjoyed the experience.

I'm excited Handy Manny is being added! DS will love that! Too bad it looks like it won't be in time for our trip this time.

That's great. DH and I were just discussing that they should add Handy Manny to that breakfast and get rid of Jo Jo and Goliath since they are no longer on t.v.!! I hope they do retire Jo Jo soon.

Happy to hear this -- I think Disney makes a great mistake not keeping more "current" with its own programming with respect to the parks. JoJo needs to be retired in favor of another current PHD character; Darby or Oso makes sense to me.

I am a grandmother hence the 1953 after my name and I am not a cougar. I must confess this i have a huge CRUSH on Handy Manny. i am in love with him along with JIMMY JOHNSON. LOL
