handicapped suites?

We're doing a family vacation next year and the consensus wants a suite hotel. I have a quadriplegic brother so we need to find a suite hotel that has two beds in the handicapped suite. Most have a king bed in the bedroom and the sleep sofa, but my parents will share the room with my handicapped brother and want a real bed too! Anyone stayed in someplace like this? I've put out a few emails to some suite hotels, but haven't gotten answers yet. Figured this would be faster! Thanks for any and all help/suggestions!

How about renting points for a DVC 2BR unit. They have handicapped units, and special services will work with you to gte exactly the type of room you need--roll in shower as opposed to tub with grab bars for example.

A 2BR unit would give them plenty of room.

Another option might be a condo and I would suggest Silver Lake (I have no affiliation, just like it there - ). The main reason is the huge size of the 2 bedroom units and the fact that our unit had ceramic tile throughout (made my wheelchair ease around) and additionally the master bedroom is huge and the bathroom was gigantic. My ECV sailed through all the doorways and even rolled right up to the huge whirlpool tub and large shower. Of all the places we've stayed it was the most handicapped friendly. When you make your reservation I would tell them exactly what you need and make sure you are on the first floor, tiled condo, etc. Enjoy.
