 :) :D I was wondering if anyone has stayed in a hanicapped stateroom on the Wonder or Magic? We are taking my mom with us on a 7 night Eastern Carribean cruise in January and she requires the use of a wheelchair. I was concerned about whether three people would be comfortable in the cabin and whether there is sufficient room for a wheelchair to move about. I read that Catagory 5 staterooms are around 268 square feet and I am afraid it may be a little cramped.

After looking at the layout of decks 6 & 7 it appears that the cabins in the rear of the ship offer the most space. If anyone would be willing to share their thoughts I would really appreciate it.

I want to make this the most "Magical" experience I can for both my Mom and my Husband. As always, thanks for your replies!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We stayed in this room last September. I am on my way to work but feel free to email me with any questions.

We were given a handicapp cabin two cruises ago. It was more spacious than the typical non-handicapp cabin. Yes there should be plenty of space to manuver a chair.

We were in 7638 and there was plenty of rom for a heelchair o ove aound. The bathroom was very large with handicapped rails on the toilet and a shower chair in the shower. The shower was level with the floor so you could wheel the chair right in the shower to get to the shower seat. The closet was very big, you could wheel the chair in there and use it as a dressing room!
