I went to Fantasmic Show in 01 and somewhat remember the arena. I wasnt with my son when I went though. He is in a handicapped stroller and was wondering if there was designated seating area for handicapped? I wasnt sure if there were stairs there.... cant remember!

It's all in the back of the arena up top, no stairs to deal with. Get a GAC so no one will give you a hard time about bringing the stroller into places.

We have the Fantasmic Dinner package and i bought this to make sure we had the seating we need for him, to be honest i dont even tlike the resturant selections but i wanted to make sure i got the seating. Will this even be neccessary then? we will go in a different entrance?

you definetly do not need the package. i have gone several times w/wheelchair and no problems. you go in through the same entrance and someone escorts you to designated area. have a great trip from a fellow sox fan and disney fanatic.

Thanks "my fellow red sox fan!" poor schilling i was hoping to see win #5 last night.. At least Manny came through! anywas... do we still need to get there an hr or more early? we are going in august which is busy? thanks for your help.. Is it me or do you see SO MANY massachusetts people on this?

::yes::
agreeing with the others. Get a GAC that allows a stroller to be used as a wheelchair (or right now, they are using stickers on the stroller).

The whole back row of the amphitheater is wheelchair/ECV seating and the row in front of that is for the other members of there party and other people with special needs. The dinner package is the whole far right section of the amphitheater, so it has its own special needs seating area. There are no stairs to the back row.
We have been to Fantasmic during some pretty busy times (during Spring break and Easter) and have not had problems getting a spot.
Getting there an hour ahead of time sounds bad, but it really isn't. During most of the time, you are actually seated waiting for the show to begin. There is a lot to see and they are playing Disney music. You can bring in food and they have vendors selling popcorn, cotton candy and pop. There is also a snack bar in the back. We were really worried about how youngest DD would get thru it the first time we went, but she did really well (she has ADD, OCD and is not the most patient person).
