My friend's DD has spina bifada and we want to get her a handicap pass. Does anyone know how to get the pass?

Go to guest relations b4 going to parks, explain your situation and they'll issue you the appropriate GAC specific to her needs. You might want to check out the disabilities board.:)

There is not a "handicapped pass" (as in something that you get just because you have a handicap).
They do have a Guest Assistance Card (we abbreviate it as GAC). The GAC is a card that tells CMs what sort of assistance someone with a disability needs.
Many people with spina bifida need only a wheelchair accessible line/entrance so that they can bring their wheelchair into the attraction with them. In that case, they don't need a GAC.
Most of the lines are actually wheelchair accessible and for the places where there is a different entrance and/or boarding process for someone using a wheelchair or an ECV, the CMs will see the wheelchair and route you to the correct place.
If there are other needs besides a need for an accessible line, take the person to Guest Relations and explain the needs to the CMs.

There is a lot more information about GACs in the disABILITIES FAQs thread (a whole section about GACs). There is a link to the disABILITIES FAQs thread in my signature.
