Hi I was wondering if anyone has stayed in a cabin that is handicap accessable? How was the shower was it a roll in? what loop are they located in? or are there several spred out? Thanks for anyone who can help me.:confused3 :confused3

I think the HA accessible cabins are all in one loop. I'm thinking 2800 or 2700, but not really sure.

I would call WDW directly and would thing there would be a special number to answer all your questions for each resort, not just FW. I sure wouldn't depend on what the ressie number tells you, you need more specific information from a professional and WDW has those available.

Here is the special reservations number

Special Reservations Line: (407) 939-7807 - option 1

I got this from the disability forum. You may ask this question there and have a better chance of getting an answer.

I don't know if the cabin I was in was a true handicapped cabin, but it had a long ramp. There was no roll in shower in it.

There were several cabins in my loop (2500) with ramps. I also noticed several in the 2800 loop when I stayed there.

I think there are alot of cabins with ramps in all the loops. Sorry I can't help with the roll in shower part.

we were assigned a handicapped cabin last year. It had a roll in shower and a fold down bench seat in the shower. It was also a little wider than the rest of the cabins. The thing I did not like about the roll in shower was that the floor sort of slanted downward and there was a drain in the center of the bathroom. You had to roll up towels alongside the edge of the shower to prevent the water from draining out onto the floor.
