Hand Luggage Restrictions To Ireland-Please Help!!!

Hi All,
My Nan+Grandad are flying to Knock,Ireland on Monday.My Grandad has'nt been 'Home' for about 6 yrs and we have no idea if the hand luggage restrictions apply to this journey,if they do can someone be kind enough to let me know what the restrictions are(i have'nt flown since these restrictions so i can't help them either).They are flying from Gatwick.If anymore info needed just let me know.Thanks everyone your help is much appreciated as always.x.

its now down to individual airport authorities rather than the airline authorities but as a guidance do not carry any sharps of inflammables in hand luggage, and no liquids over 100ml, any liquids under 100ml must be carried through customs in a see through bag, all liquids can be used or bought once through to airside

passports are fine for photo id as is a government issued citizen card, travel pass or driving licence with photo on it

That's ok Jackie,glad the weathers not been to bad-my nan suffers terribly with the cold-even when it's 90 deg she's got the fire on .x.
