Hi All--

I am running the half in York, Maine on Sept. 21st so will not be able to do this one...by if there are WISHers running, I will try and get there to scream team! (This is only about 40 minutes from my house!)

We'll have to find a good place for dinner at the Beach. I am 99% sure I am all set for that. My mom & dad will be there too & I know they'd love to go to dinner too (Karen - do you remember my mom for the races?). My parents always eat at Brown's or the other place across the street when they go to the beach for seafood. Not sure about other restaurants though. The one next to the Casino was ok - we ate there before Lifehouse last fall. I am sure the Ashworth has a restaurant or two. I know they used to have a fabulous brunch there. My parents best friends (practically my aunt & uncle) go to Hampton ever year on vacation - I will pick their brains about somewhere to eat.

I have been calling up the Rockfest page all day. They are so toying with me!

Ok, I am super aggravated now!
It's September 10th.
The day (or one of the days) they said they would announce the band(s) by.
Not a thing has changed on their site!

I am really upset that they didn't have their ducks in a row before even announcing this race.
Horrible organization for such a huge event.
Makes me a bit nervous about them being prepared for the race to be honest.

I really sort of need to know what band is playing.
If it's someone I am a big fan of, I will probably stay over Sunday night.
If I am not really interested, I won't stay over.

They finally listed the band. The band scheduled to perform is Entrain. It says though that they are still waiting for final confirmation. I’ve never even heard of Entrain. John & I have decided not to stay for the concert. We’ll just head out to drive home after the race & save the cost of an extra hotel night.

Kristi – Yep, I remember your mom. That is GREAT that your mom & dad will join us for dinner. A seafood place is fine as long as they serve something other then seafood too. John doesn’t eat seafood at all & I only eat shrimp. Sorry…..I know we are picky eaters.

Angie – Sorry you probably won’t be able to join us for dinner, but look forward to seeing you Sunday.

Entrain? Who the heck is Emtrain? After all this, Entrain?
I guess I don't consider them a "top Rock N Roll band."
What a let down.

I will ask around about a place to eat.
I doubt I am staying over Sunday as well.
