Hampton Inn orlando/Lake Buena Vista

We have a Disney Vacation scheduled for May 30-June 7th, but airfare hikes have put us in the postion of flying in a day earlier then our accomodations have been paid for. There are no value rooms availibe today, (when they were availible, they were $135).
Has anyone stayed at this location recently, and if so, what were your thoughts on the value. Location in relation to Downtown Disney. And also, were there any additonal fees associated with the stay (parking, hotel fee, etc). The advance payment, non-refundable fee as of today is $76.49 including taxes

If this is the location on Palm Parkway I can tell you that we were very happy with the facilities. We have stayed there on 3 separate occasions in the last 4 years and each and every stay met our expectations. The locaton is great---just a short 5-10min depending on traffic to WDW. We love the free hot breakfast and have enjoyed warm cookies in the evening from the front desk a time or two. The pool area is just okay--but never was very busy each time we were there. The beds were very comfortable. No parking or resort fees when we were there. Hope this helps.

Yes, it is the location @8150 Palm Parkway. So happy to know that it was a ideal location, and great accomodations. Now I have no reservations about staying there for the night. Thank you so much for sharing, I was starting to get really nervous about the date change. My husband and boys will be glad to know that breakfast is a warm one.

stayed there a few years back. Liked it. I would stay there again but the price is always too high so we stay at the country inn down the road. This area is a terrific location to stay.

I love the affordability of the rooms at this location, but there weren't as many good reviews here as with the other location. The things that were disliked by very recent reviewers, are the things that I worry about the most (dirty carpets, dirty bathroom, towels). Thanks for an alternate location to consider, I know nothing about the non-Disney accomodations.
