Hampton Inn, Lake Buena Vista - Anyone????

Trying to post this one again closer to time to leave. We will be arriving on Sunday for 5 days, Has anyone stayed at this particular one??? I would be interested if anyone knows about their particular shuttle service and if it is reliable. Just how close is it to DTD and the Parks, etc... Also how is the continental breakfast they provide??? What do you think cab fare would be to the parks or DTD if we have to grab one, when shuttle is not available. We will not be renting a car if at all possible. My husband is adamant about not driving while there!!! We are taking Tiffany Towncar to hotel from Amtrak station... Any info is greatly appreciated for this 1st time family trip to Disney!!!

Hi !!

I've never stayed at the one in LBV, but I've stayed at the one close to International Drive.
I think, it's great hotel. Everything is clean, nice decor and friendly staff.

About the breakfast it was OK, but nothing to write home about.
It had cold cerials, bagels, french toast and waffles you warm your self, some sort af danish...can't remember. It all tasted good though. Of course there was coffee ( which you drink and take to your room 24/7), tea, juice and milk.

The cabfare would be about 10 dollars or less - my guess. We paid 15 dollars to get to the south end of International Drive from Epcot.
