Hampton Inn and Suites

How far is the Hampton Inn and Suites? Walking distance? How much farther is it than the walk from HOJO?

If it is the one on Harbor next to Embassy Suites South, then I do not think it is walkable. We used to stay at ES until it got to expensive, and we always drove to the parks. Now we stay at CCI or HOJOs and walk.

I love Hampton Inn's though, in general - they are great hotels.


Edited to add: I just googled it and it is 1.3 miles - says 26 min walking. So I guess it is walkable, not sure I would want to walk it, though, lol.

There are several ART routes that run down harbor to those hotels and back up. Most stop at only a couple hotels. So you do have a lot of options when it comes to riding ART. I've never had a bad stay at a Hampton either, but haven't stayed at that particular one.

Hampton Inn used to be our place to stay. It is a great hotel with a good free breakfast and close parking. There is a Target right across the street if you need anything, but it is not in walking distance to DL. Now we stay at Best Western Stovalls. It is not as nice as HI and the breakfast is not as good, but it is super close to DL...a very easy walk. We like the Cici's in the parking lot for breakfast and it is really cheap. Hampton costs more than BWS, so with paying for breakfast you break even and get an easy walk to DL.

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn. It's in the Hilton triplex (alongside the Hilton Garden Inn and the Embassy Suites South). It is too far to walk with children, especially after a long day at the parks.
Hojo is definitely walking distance to the parks.
