I booked a one way flight out of Hamilton to Olrando for $105 and was super excited until I realized the you have to wait until you get to Orlando to go through customs.

For anyone who has flown out of Hamilton, how difficult is this?? I am going to Disney as part of the International College Program, so I am afraid it could take a long time???

Any info on going through customs in Orlando would be awesome. I have only ever flown to the states from YYZ or BUF.

Thanks!!!!

Hamilton is a smaller airport which I have found really easy to get through quickly. You will have no problems if you have travelled through YYZ before.

As for customs in MCO - Once you land, you will be directed through a secure hallway, down some stairs to the ground level and in our case, we walked what seemed to be forever to the US customs area. After being cleared you will go back upstairs and go through MCO security before you are allowed to enter the terminal to take the train over to the main terminal. Make sure you don't have any liquids(duty free) with you while going through security, pack it in your checked bags before giving them back to the luggage handlers at MCO.

As long as you have all your paperwork for the WDWIP on hand (work visa, letters etc) you shouldn't have any problems with customs.

You should be fine. Its a pretty big room with lots of agents. They try to get people through pretty quickly. Just have all your paperwork ready to go and your good.

In the past when Canada 3000 was still in business when we flew them from YYZ - MCO we had to clear US Customs in Orlando and I remember there being long lines because of lights that had just landed from the UK, so that's something else to remember. However I do remember they had a lot of agents working so that made things go a bit faster.
