I'm curious and I want to know, once and for all, is it bacon or ham?
As for me, I'm in the Ham camp too. I like steamed Ham.

B-A-C-O-N!

While I like ham, you can't take ham and add it to something to improve it. EVERYTHING becomes better with bacon!

Ham's okay, but bacon is one of the only "not quite the healthiest for you" foods that I'd eat daily if I could! And nothing says, "Camping!" like the smell of bacon in the morning.

Do love both, but I eat ham because it's less fatty than bacon. :) My poor tummy can't handle much in the way of fatty foods anymore, so I usually have ham.

We eat ham fairly often since it's not so fatty. But there's nothing like the smell of cooking bacon!

If your talking just a regular ol piece of ham or some bacon, give me the bacon.

If your talking about a piece of sugar curied ham or some bacon, give me the ham.

Everybody around here raves about an Ossian Ham - Uck!!!!! Ossian bacon - Oh yah!!!!!

I am not a fan of ham (only HONEYBAKED) but love bacon as a seasoning or as an addition, not alone.

Bacon dipped in chocolate...YUM!

Given the choices provided, I am going with bacon. Why, may I ask, is sausage not on the poll??? :confused3 That is the third choice for breakfast meat usually.

Ham for me, I can only eat a piece of bacon or I'll get sick from it :confused3 I guess IF I could eat more then I might change my mind though :lmao:

I really can't decide, I like them both. But. Lately bacon has been causing my stomach to be upset, maybe it's the grease I don't know. So I've been choosing ham instead and that seems to be fine. I don't eat either of them that often, unless we go out for breakfast or we're camping.

Oh yes you can!

I add ham to a grilled cheese sandwich. I add it to scalloped potatoes, pizza, omlettes, etc. There are a lot of things that are better when ham is added to it!

I chose ham, its less fat and less calories. The fat and grease content that springs from bacon makes me really sick unless, and with ham I have a nice non fat ham I buy that tastes soo good with some eggs.

I  them equally. I'll consume either any way served.

Love a good baked ham or ham steak slathered in a mustard/brown sugar mix or bacon, well any way it is served.

I voted for ham.

Don't get me wrong, I love bacon, but I recently discovered that due to the nitrates and other additives, I am becomming intolerant to it by the way of nasty headaches on Sunday afternoons (we eat breakfast out every Sunday morning).

I'd buy the nitrate free bacon, but it sells for $6/lb. Although recently, Kroger did have several brands of nitrate free on sale for $3.99/pack -- still costly but I stocked up with 4 packs sitting in my freezer.

DD3 looooves bacon. So much so that she will snatch it off you plate if you have any. We always have to get her a full order when we eat breakfast out. Thank goodness we eat breakfast out once a week or so.

There really is nothing like a nice, salty, crispy piece(s) of bacon!! SO GOOD!
